Yeah, I absolutely would never use online accounts. ![]() However, I don't know if those work, and I don't want to lock myself out completely, and second, my gut tells me that MS will just reverse my changes with some later Windows update. Like changing your date of birth (not sure I can even do that, since apparently I'm a child) or removing my name from Microsoft Family entirely. MAKEUSEOF: How to Turn Off the Microsoft Family Features Popups I ended up disabling the Parental Controls service in the Services console, but can't find a proper way to just completely disable Family security/whatever. So Windows is now treating me like a child. ![]() I Googled and found no way to give myself permissions for all the apps, and no official way to disable/remove Family permissions. I only found this out after installing, of course. The biggest problem was that Windows decided without my choosing it, that the Family functions would be enabled. I went to do a fresh Windows 10 install on one of my machines, and had a few problems. I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays. ![]()
